This dynamic 3rd class for Fall-Metal begins with our Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints while invigorating our whole body and opening our lungs & breath. We then weave Viloma Pranayama into our Qigong practice of Dragon’s Pearl and throughout our yoga practice, while seated, standing, and again in Savasana. Referred to as "Bichi" by Taoists, this potent interrupted breathing practice helps calm the body-mind, reduces tension and anxiety, relaxes the nervous system, boosts lung capacity, and stimulates and cools the body.
