This dynamic 5th class for Summer-Earth begins with our Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints while invigorating the whole body and loosening up our Earth-tissues, i.e. our muscles and flesh. Standing Earth-Breathing Qigong, Earth-Undulations, Yin-Wheel, Spreading our Wings, Caressing Arm Lifts, and holding the Merging Stance are followed by a yoga practice designed to deepen our connection to the force of gravity, master our balance, while developing our proprioception. This latter portion has us gently moving our whole body for greater overall strength, flexibility, and balance while culminating in the 3 Warrior Poses to cultivate our Inner Earth. As always, we finish with a relaxing Savasana to help integrate the practice deep into our tissues before sitting briefly in Buddha's own enlightened posture.
