This dynamic fifth class for Summer-Fire begins with some Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints while invigorating the whole body. We’ll explore Flying Phoenix Qigong, an effective movement for establishing our personal boundaries – be they physical, emotional, and/or mental. The remainder of the class has us working our whole bodies, extending our arms, stretching our Fire meridians, while stimulating PC6 or “Inner Frontier Gate”, PC7 at the wrist crease, and PC8 in the palms - great acupressure points for boundary-setting. As always, we finish with a relaxing Savasana to help integrate the practice into our body-minds.
