“Yin Dao, Qi Dao” ~where the mind goes, the Qi flows
Feel it in your bones with Bone Breathing Qigong. Class 4 of 7 in our Water-themed practice to honour the Winter season. The focus continues with the health and vitality of our primary Water organs, the Kidneys – our energy storehouses – and now extends out through our entire skeletal structure. This practice, divided in thirds, begins with our Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints, invigorate our whole body, while rooting our feet (KI1), stimulating our kidneys, and shaking into our bones. “Gentle Undulations” further enhance our bone-awareness. The 2nd third has us gently stretching & opening in some key restorative poses to reinforce and deepen our work. The final third is a guided meditation practice while in Savasana of Bone Breathing Qigong – an extremely relaxing yet powerful yin practice that strengthens our bones, restores our nervous system, and enriches our blood.
