The fourth of 7 classes in this Metal-themed course for fall time continues with a focus on healthy digestion and elimination. The class begins with some Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints while invigorating our whole body, with special attention paid to the large intestine (LI) and it's two flexures, as well as the LI meridian with some key points. Forty five minutes of restorative yoga helps us deepen and integrate our “Metal-Refinement” while fully relaxing our nervous system. We'll finish in Viparita Karani or Legs-Up-the-Wall for a deep reset of our vagal nerve, stretch of our large intestine, boost of our lung capacity, while stimulating and cooling the body – all critical for optimal digestion and "letting go".
