The fifth class in this Fire-themed course for Early Summertime turns our attention to our relationships, interpersonal communication, and especially on setting boundaries. This deeply nourishing class begins with some Qigong warm-ups to release stagnation in the tissues and joints while invigorating the whole body and paying special attention to our wrists and three special acupressure points along the Pericardium meridian for boundary-setting. Followed by “Flying Phoenix”, an excellent Qigong practice for opening our hearts while establishing healthy boundaries. The remaining 45 minutes is a restorative yoga practice with poses designed to continue deepening our awareness of Endocrine Fire, Boundaries and the connection to PC6, PC7, & PC8. As always, we finish with a nourishing Savasana for deep integration.
